The Calvert County Solid Waste Division offers a fantastic service for residents: two free bulk item pick-ups per year! This means you can schedule a time for them to haul away up to three large items from your home during each pick-up.

How Does It Work?
It’s simple! Here’s a breakdown of the process:
Two Free Pick-Ups Annually: Each household is allowed two scheduled pick-ups per year, with up to three items per pick-up.
Eligible Items: Only indoor furniture and large appliances are accepted—think sofas, mattresses, stoves, and water heaters. Items with refrigerants like refrigerators and air conditioners come with a small $10 fee for safe disposal.
Curbside Pick-Up: Place your items at the curb where your property meets a public road for easy collection. Remember, the team can’t pick up items from private roads or properties.
